Few people lived here, from what I observed. Most of them were in hiding, but a small number of them loomed the streets throughout the day. I avoided them completely.
There weren't many buildings, just immense space. I didn't ever find a park, either. The largest structure poking into the grey-white sky was always distant, and whenever I got close enough to see it –again, it'd be suddenly back in its place, beyond so many hills that I'd only get to see a little tip of the roof. It was as though I was being repelled and thrown back to where I started, without even knowing it. So
